Project Admin: SCM Settings Page

Page Overview

The Project Admin SCM Settings page is a configuration interface for project administrators to manage source code management (SCM) settings within a GForge project. This page provides comprehensive control over how users access and interact with the project's code repository. Administrators can configure access methods (SSH vs HTTPS), enable or disable various features like Git LFS support and anonymous read access, set up tracker item associations with commits, and customize informational text that appears in different SCM views. The page includes options for commit notifications, committer validation, and assignment validation to ensure proper workflow management. Additionally, it provides rich text editors for creating custom access and browse text that will be displayed to users in the project's SCM sections. This centralized configuration interface allows project administrators to tailor the SCM experience to their project's specific needs and security requirements.
