One platform, every part of how your team ships.
GForge brings ticketing, agile planning, your code, your docs, and AI into a single system — instead of stitching a dozen tools together. Here’s what’s inside.
How it all fits together
Six capabilities, organized by what you’re actually trying to do — not by feature name.
Plan & Track
Ticketing
Fully customizable trackers — your own fields, statuses, and workflows, not ours. Name a branch or link a commit with a ticket number and GForge connects the two automatically, tracking exactly when that work ships.
Learn more →Agile
Plan sprints, run a drag-and-drop Kanban board grouped however your team works, and track progress with live burndown charts. Completion dates are projected from real math on your actual ticket close rate — not a guess.
Learn more →Build & Ship
Version Control
Git and SVN hosting with merge reviews and inline, line-level comments built directly into the ticket. A configurable Promotion Model shows exactly which environment — dev, staging, production — each ticket’s code has actually reached.
Learn more →CI/CD
Tight Jenkins integration via the GForge Jenkins Plugin, with full multibranch and pipeline support. Build status flows automatically onto your tickets, and every deployment is stamped on the tickets that shipped in it.
Learn more →Know & Collaborate
Wiki
A real Markdown wiki — versioned, searchable, tagged, and cross-linked. The same editor also powers ticket notebooks and sprint retrospectives, so documentation lives next to the work instead of a separate app.
Learn more →Document Management
Version-controlled file storage with real folder organization, per-folder permissions, and check-out locking to prevent overwrites. Every revision is kept and restorable, with full-text search built in.
Learn more →…and it’s all connected: webhooks fire on ticket, commit, build, and document changes, so your other tools stay in sync. Available now on SaaS, coming to self-hosted with GForge 26.1 this fall.
One message, three fields updated — Flow AI reading and acting on a real ticket.
Your own AI, working inside GForge
Flow AI reads and writes tickets, wiki pages, sprints, and more — using a model and API key you provide. Off by default, always on your terms. Attach it to a workflow transition and it runs automatically, no chat required.
Prefer to bring your own AI tool instead? gforge-cli connects Claude Code and any MCP client to GForge too.
Deploy it your way — including fully air-gapped
SaaS, self-hosted, or fully disconnected from the internet. The architecture, not just the marketing, backs this up.
- Install and upgrade entirely offline — a dedicated offline installer package is built and tested for exactly this
- License validation happens locally against your own instance; it never phones home
- No telemetry or crash-reporting calls in the core application at startup or runtime
- On-premise, air-gapped deployment gives your organization the architecture needed to meet ITAR and similar export-control requirements — full control over where your data lives, and whether it ever leaves your network
“We were looking for a way to manage source control, tickets, and releases without stitching together multiple tools or dealing with complex administration. GForge let us consolidate that workflow into a single system we could run in our own environment. It significantly reduced overhead for our engineering team.”— Justin Carlson, Engineering Lead, State of Iowa
