Project Team – Invite Users Page
Page Overview
The Project Team Invite Users page is a specialized interface within GForge that allows project administrators to manage user invitations to their project. This page serves as a tool for expanding project membership by sending email invitations to potential team members. The page is divided into two main sections: an invitation form for sending new invites and a management area for tracking active invitations.
The invitation form allows administrators to enter one or more email addresses (comma-separated) and assign specific project roles to the invited users. The role selection is handled through a dropdown menu that contains all available project roles, ensuring that new members are granted appropriate permissions from the moment they accept their invitation.
The active invitations section provides administrators with visibility into pending invitations, allowing them to monitor which invitations are still outstanding and manage them accordingly. This includes the ability to search and filter through active invitations and potentially cancel invitations if needed.
The page maintains consistency with the overall GForge interface design and includes standard navigation elements such as breadcrumbs and tab navigation. The interface is designed to be intuitive for project administrators who need to quickly invite new team members while maintaining proper role-based access control. The page also includes proper form validation and user feedback mechanisms to ensure a smooth invitation process.
